As I remember it that was in FU2, but long time ago... Need to try it in MSFS 2024 later, don't expect it to even manage a vertical snap roll to start the rotation that you counter with full throttle and torque counter rotation after that... I believe the original was indeed the most advanced one - 1996's Flight Unlimited (1)... when Seamus Blackley did use CFD-based techniques to model sophisticated aerodynamic details ... FU2 was not bad, FU3 was great for other reasons like weather modelling and AI ... and scenery and some of the additional airplanes. November 30, 20241 yr I remember the effects of jet exhaust turbulence in FU2 and FU3 (small planes being blown about if they were directly behind an AI airliner as it spooled up its engines for take off), but I also remember a P51D Mustang passing very close to my Beechcraft Baron flying in the opposite direction, and a few seconds later my plane was hit by significant wake turbulence. I really miss Looking Glass Studios. They were so innovative back in the day.
