Simbrief, Navigraph and FS2024

Featured Replies

After my Navigraph hub was updated to the latest version, I installed the Navigraph and Simbrief apps via this hub into FS2024. Unfortunately I cannot get either of them to work or show up in FS2024. Can somebody enlighten  me please on how to get these two active in the simulator? No doubt I have been doing something wrong again or didn't see the obvious icons or whatever 🙂  Thanks for any help

Kind regards,
Hans van WIjhe

They are in the EFB. If you are using the MAX, it should how when you hit the All Apps (or whatever it's called). If not, bring up the on-screen EFB overlay and they are in the same location.

Thank you. I haven't got the faintest idea what the MAX is, but contrary to FS2020 Simbrief doesn't show up in the EFB nor in the options bar at top of the screen when in the cockpit. Just for information, I am on the store version of FS2024 and at a PC, I guess you mean by onscreen EFB overlay the one in the options bar, if so, no there is no sign of simbrief nor navigraph either. I expected, that as in FS2020 both these Navigraph apps would show up in this options bar. Perhaps I am wishing for too much?

Are you absolutely sure?

In the EFB under Apps.

I expected both apps to be as in FS2020, i.e. shown in the options bar while in the cockpit. Thanks to you and BrammyH i did get it there now. I didn't realize, that I first had to initiate these two Navigraph apps via the EFB in the main screen.  Thanks to you and BrammyH for pointing me into the right direction. Going to try and solve the next problem with FS2024 now and perhaps I will be able to make my first planned flight sometime this week LOL.

Can you get a hold of that Simbrief app for MSFS2024 (in the EFB) without a Navigraph subscription? You can't run the Hub without a subscription. Are those apps only for subscribers?

Simbrief used to be free, but Navigraph and its hub are for subscribers only, as far as I know

Okay, so all apps are part of the subscription. Bummer. But fair enough.

Check the Navigraph Website.

Maybe there is a separate download.

Wow! That free SB Dispatch plugin works like a charm! No more need to switch to a browser or to download a plan in order to load it into MSFS2024! Really cool! Just created a flight (simple as always) and loaded it into the G3000 without problems! Nice bonus: when I manually set the STAR in the G3000 it does NOT make a mess of the plan unlike what happens if I download a plan from SB and load it into the default MSFS2024 EFB planner.

Great stuff! This made everything a WHOLE lot easier and more convenient! 🙂

BTW Take note that you can add SB to your favorites in the EFB so it shows up at the bottom of the 'device'!
