Can’t close ATC window

Featured Replies

Did anyone figure out how to close ATC window in FS2024? It opens fine but can’t close it with the same key. I check the bindings and it’s same as FS2020. It works fine there.

Yes, Under communications at the top, I changed the key to "Open Communications Panel" Instead of ATC window and that worked for me.

does not toggle. instead the ATC window keeps popping up even if closed, must be some mouse noise or I need to restart once landed the Fenix, will see. Checke binding, NO double bindings

I tried the default ATC two times (before running back to BATC) but I also couldn't get that window to toggle. I assigned the option mentioned above. I had to close it with the mouse everytime. (Another reason to not use default ATC.)

Use the ` key (just under ESC) to toggle the ATC window.

It would open with that key but not close with the key, Thats why i re-bound that key "`" with the "open Communications window" instead and works like a charm. for me anyways.

Yes, that's the solution. The key must be bound to comm window instead of ATC window.

does not work here. instead it got worse. I deleted ALL bindings to the Comms window and now I can close it by clicking on the x top right of the window. but it keeps popping up all the time?!

It works well here with the toggle key:

It's the \ or ` (in the US keyboard layout) key. It's the key just below ESC and on the left of 1.

Odd. I used the same key (like I've always used that key for the ATC window) and on my PC it only brings the ATC window in view but it won't hide it again. I thought this was odd but to be expected because the option is called 'OPEN communications window'. But it clearly does work as a toggle on your PC.
