MSFS 2024 Settings / Help

Featured Replies

I finally bit the bullet and bought 2024.  I am in the process of getting it set up and was hoping someone can answer a few questions.  I have gotten Fenix in the sim as well as a few 2020 payware addons and so far so good.  However, I was hoping someone can help answer the following:

- How do you turn off the blue highlights / verbal info when putting the mouse over a switch in the cockpit?  I can't seem to get it off no matter what i pick in assistance settings (also, even a dumber question but in the settings, does the blue box on the left mean on and the checkmark to the right means off, or vice versa?)

- Is there a way to port control settings (yoke, pedals, Throttletek throttle) from 2020 to 2024?  I thought I saw something on a youtube video but can't seem to find it again

- In 2020 i fly a mix of PSXT/Real traffic or Vatsim.  What do i need to make sure that is all i see in the sim and that other online people don't interfere?   Same as 2020?

- Is there a setting I need to know to ensure Active Sky is working along side live weather?

I think that is all for now.  Thanks!

The blue stuff goes off if you use Legacy for mouse control etc

I don't think there's a way as assigning/binding controls is different now - it's not hard it just takes about 15 min to setup all your stuff

Ahh - not sure - but you could probably disable Multiplayer

I'm not currently using AS but i dont think so

Where is the Legacy Mouse control setting?  I am in Legacy for Flight Model but still have the blue.  I also don't see a control setting for legacy in the mouse area.

Just play around in the menus.  Maybe accessibility?

There's a legacy toggle in "Flight Interface", down under "Cockpit Camera".
