Where did the 'move up a bit' toggle go?

Featured Replies

In MSFS2020 I had the spacebar assigned to what in me memory was called something like Landing view. If I pressed the spacebar my view would go up a bit, like you would sit straight up, and when I pressed it again I would 'sit down' again. I can't find a similar option in MSFS2024...

Anyone knows if it is still there and/or where it did go? I miss it!

I'm not sure, as I don't use it. but I think it's now called "Toggle Landing Cockpit View" in the "Cockpit Camera" options. Not mapped by default.

Ryzen 9 7900X, Corsair H150 AIO cooler, 64 Gb DDR5, Asus X670E Hero m/b, 3090ti, 13Tb NVMe, 8Tb SSD, 16Tb HD, 55" Philips 4k HDR monitor, EVGA 1600w ps, all in Corsair 7000D airflow case. Sims in use - 2020, 2024, XP-12 and -11, FSX/SE, P3Dv4.5 and v5.4. DCS and AFS2 installed but rarely used

I think I tried that one and it made me look to the left... without going up also...! Maybe I should try the option 'Look to the left' one time LOL

Yeah, I've had a couple of settings that don't seem to do what they're supposed to (and I've checked for duplicate allocations etc for them, they weren't conflicting with anything), but hey - it's software right? it can do whatever it likes.
