December 4, 20241 yr Why do I always have to enter the departure/arrival airport on the main screen to start a flight? Can I not simply enter my data in the EFB and launch from there?

In both 2020 and 2024… Phil Leaven i5 10600KF, 32 GB 3200 RAM, ASUS 4070 12GB EVO, Asus ROG Z490-H, 2 WD Black NVME for each Win11 (500GB) and MSFS (1TB), Rolling Cache 16GB, Photogrammetry always OFF, Live Weather and Live Traffic always ON, Res 2560x1440 on 27"

And the time of day if I don't want to use the current time. All the flight planning etc I do in the EFB (currently using the SimBrief EFB app for that). Setting your starting position in the EFB would be a bit hard to do... Unless you always and only start a flight on the runway: in that case they could probably program such a feature.

You may have to scroll down to see all options! 😊 Bert
