Do you see real traffic liveries?

Featured Replies

Yes. I went to a third party provider (FSHud and AIG)

Not waiting another four years for them to sort AI traffic out!

I recently saw Alaska Airlines in some regional airport in Germany. 😅

I know I've seen United, but mostly I get the generic looking liveries (along with planes that don't belong at certain airports, like A330s at Buffalo).

I have heard Southwest over ATC, but never saw their livery.  I'm guessing some of them have the real callsign but not a livery?

Live traffic had (mostly) real call signs in 2020. This isn’t new for 2024. It’s unrelated to having proper liveries.

When I was able to login the first time, I saw Alaska Airlines in LIRE, an Italian military airbase 🤣

Go into your graphics settings and set ‘traffic airport quality’ to OFF

That should stop most of the inappropriate aircraft from spawning. What you’re seeing is random static aircraft, not AI traffic. Downside is that you’ll lose ambient airports vehicles as well

I see 1-2 per airport, more than 90% of the aircraft have generic Airbus/Boeing liveries...

I don't see a thread on the official forum, so I am in doubt, am I the only one with this issue?

Real world traffic is enabled in the Online tab of course.

Thanks!

2024 only has like 10 real world airlines. Hard to actually give an exact number since everything is stored on the cloud.

But I’ve seen Rex, New Zealand, Qatar, Spirit, United, Silver, KLM… I know I’ve seen more but I’m blanking

that sounds like a backwards step from 2020 - airport land traffic is under a separate option in that sim - from memory.

This caused the disappearance of all static aircraft and made me feel so lonely...
