I kept 2020 for at least a year - until it was deleted to free up space. I never flew in 2020 after 2024 was installed on release day.

the reg edit is used to show what DLSS mode you are in by mean of a screen display - you can do that (Alt Z) and change DLSS modes using the Nvidia app now.

Speed tape is absolutely clear for me, using 5090 with latest showing using Nvidia app stats for DLSS and frame gen x4

The 3090 still performs great in FS - regarding DLSS 4.5, I’d probably stay away from it - early indications are showing a sizeable drop off in performance.

Nvidia app is the way to go, I don’t understand why they are using the swapper and editing their registry.

indeed - FG worked very well on my outgoing 3090

as I understand it you don't need DLSS swapper now - and you don't need the reg hack to see which mode you are using - Nvidia app does both for you. Nvidia app overlay stats – ALT+Z > statistics > statistics view > DLSS

It will be interesting to see how the dynamic FG works in FS - it maybe useful with the constant change in CPU load

another vote for xbox controller - have used one since the start of 2020 - I also use it to move my view around inside the cockpit.

The partnership has ended - it was mentioned some time ago, and that they were looking at doing it in house now - not sure if that's actually started though, and I'm concerned that we won't see any development here. IMO The blackshark thing never produced or fulfilled its potential, after day 1 I never saw any improvement with the models - no evolution at all.
