AAO version 4.51 build 09 has been released today. This update is mostly about bugfixes and improved compatibility with MSFS 2024.

SimMarket already deployed it. Flightsim.to should be close behind, but they are having server trouble at the moment. Our contact at JustFlight is on holiday, but someone else will take care of the update.

Changes in AxisAndOhs version 4.51

- Change: MSFS 2024: Autostart with the sim tested and enabled
- Change: MSFS 2024: Merged MSFS 2024 SDK definitions for Variables and Events
- Change: MSFS 2024: BVars can be used again
- Change: Added (L:SimVersion, String) which contains the simulator version string that the app is connected to

- Bugfix: MSFS: IEs not working properly anymore in the MSFS 2020 variant of AAO 
- Bugfix: MSFS: when selecting an MSFS Input Event from the variable treelist, the (IE: string was missing
- Bugfix: When loading Templates in Offline Mode they can cause a CTD
- Bugfix: Database Restore had to be executed twice to have an effect
- Bugfix: Change Button dialog switching events to MAN when an IE was assigned. 

 

Nothing showing on JustFlight so far.

Any possibility of getting the update direct with a proof of purchase?

I've messaged them on X as well but nothing. They are so slow in making updates available I don't expect to see it before monday or tuesday.

Sure would be nice if JustFlight would let us have the latest version. I am waiting to use some B: and IE: variables and events. It is Monday!

Please Lorby_Si If there's a way to transfer my license to someone else I'll do it.

flightsim.to and simmarket both had this up within a few hours. JF haven't replied to either my contact on FB or X.

The thing is, that these shops take a 30% commission of each sale for their services. At that price, I'm not really motivated to work around issues with those services. Plus, if I start doing that, I would have to do it for everybody - which would probably be a significant effort - unpaid. Which would mean throwing even more good money after what has already been paid to them. 

With the last releases of AAO I actually cheated ☺️ . I sent the email to JustFlight first, then waited for a day, and then uploaded the product on SimMarket and FS.to and finally posted the update message. Sm and .to have fully automated shop systems, where we can actually upload stuff ourselves, which they then only have to approve. JF is instead still relying on a "human interface" - all I can do is send them emails - I can't even check what is currently in the shop, I would have to buy the product myself...

What I can do is this: send me an email with your proof of purchase on the support address (you'll find that on the last page of the AAO manual). I will then provide a temporary link to the 4.51 b09. Be mindful though that there are real life limits to what I can do that way.

@Lorby_SIDownloaded from Just Flight. The "IE" variables I had issues in AAO 4.5 are working now. All good.
