December 17, 20241 yr Is it me or is the old bug where the glidescope puts you too far on the runway still there in MSFS2024? Seems like something quite important which should have been fixed Edited December 17, 20241 yr by rob0203

Although IRL I usually found that any difference in touchdown points usually put the ILS only slightly beyond the PAPI, maybe 100 to 200 feet. Apart from those airports where there is a particular obstacle clearance consideration on the approach in IFR conditions, where the ILS touchdown might be extended further. In the MS sims and also in P3D the ILS touchdown is often a very long way beyond where the PAPI touchdown would be, and well beyond what is realistic. I know it has been flagged for years without a resolution. If it has been improved in 2024 that would be progress. John B
