December 24, 20241 yr I was pleased when I logged in to 2024 the other day to find that my home airport EGPF Glasgow by Pyreegue was available and ready to use. My captures don't do it any justice, but this is a fantastic rendition of the real thing and has been created to a very high standard - and in my honest opinion, the lighting improvements in 2024 make it look even better. I am however seeing a bit of a hit to my frame rates when at a gate or around the airport in the drone. I'm not sure if this is due to the limitations of my system, the RAM/VRAM bug or the fact that the airport is absolutely teaming with other aircraft (and it doesn't seem to matter what setting i select - Live/AI/Off - it doesn't seem to make a difference. I also can't see a way to turn down the airport traffic density, without also lowering the quality of those aircraft, which I don't want to do. I guess it could also be due to static models in the airport scenery - if there are any included. Anyway, I took a few quick shots at dusk! Hope you enjoy! Merry Christmas to you all! There are a few liveries included in the base sim. I seem to have Easyjet, Air New Zealand, KLM, Pan AM and Jet2 available as useable liveries. December 29, 20241 yr Thanks, Calum, for showing your home airport in MSFS2024...🙂... a favorite airport of mine in the virtual world. I recall Orbx had once included a decent EGPF scenery in their EU Scotland...recall flying around there much following the River Clyde...🙂... I was coincidentally yesterday thinking about the Scottish Highlands a bit as part of one my posts ...🙂... BTW, your pictures set here does justice enough to the scenery.... very nice...!
