Yes, and they can also -without warning- fall out of the sky and hurt innocent folks...

Hmm.... don't think that has happened yet, Bill. I think they are very lightweight mini drones, too. Not operated above the crowd, either.

It really did happen Martin! It occurred during an overhead display in Orlando, Florida on December 21st, when without warning some of the drones collided and fell straight downwards, hitting several observers...

...including a seven-year-old boy who had been hit so hard, that he required open-heart surgery to fix a damaged valve! As a result, he and his family celebrated Christmas in the boy's ICU.  What a horrible and tragic event.

Much like fireworks, it's best to not have the spectators directly beneath the display.

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I fully agree with that! I see some rather ugly lawsuits being filed before too much longer.

This occurred during the first of two planned shows, needless to say the second show was cancelled. Planned shows by that same company in Texas over Christmas Eve were likewise cancelled.
