This has always been a major limitation in XP whenever variable winds are reported in a METAR... 

Finally Austin umderstood One of the roots of the problem and we will probably get a fix with one of the next xp12 updates 😁👍👍👍

This is indeed good news and what a time to find out is during to winter where you can have some extreme windy condition more often to test against.

Sure it has been an observation made by another user but at the end Janov is the one who can adress such reports and as far as I understood he transfered that issue directly to Austin 😊

Oh he did, but a user spent time working out the details, so Austin could finally see what was happening. It had being reported before but no one took the time to look at it in detail. If not for him. Janov would have nothing to report.
