January 23, 20251 yr I have an RTX 3080 and had the same issue with heat and power draw. I don't have those issues anymore after undervolting the card to run at 850mV at max boost clock limited to 1800 MHZ. Try it, it's simple. All you need is MSI Afterburner app (works with any brand) and guides are available on Youtube. Create a profile and set it to load when you run MSFS. Performance hit from undervolting is negligible.
