Have you tried using the aircraft controls to control the brightness?

edit: There are 4 knobs under the Fenix FCU and one near the center will control the brightness of your winwing

Yes Sir - noticed if you look down on it its better but still not as bright as the rest of the lights - have a feeling its the lenses they have over those areas as thats the only areas that are quite dim - brighter when you turn up knobs in Fenix but still dark imo

Hmm...

Mine matches the Fenix quite closely. Have you tried a different usb? I have mine plugged into a 2.0 and it works fine.

Well tried everything - its just the way the lense is its a bit to dark - and if you look down on it more its better - meaning you cant use the angled provided brackets if you place flat on a desk and look down on it - it gets brighter - not as bright as I would like but better

Maybe they can provide a software update to brighten it up prob not - well see sent them a ticket to see what they think

A little update - contacted Winwing they didnt have much to say about brightness of the numbers on the lense positions - thinking the tint is to dark

They did say I could try a 5v usb C power plug it actually helped a little bit - have to get use to it as I think theres nothing else that can be done - its just the way it was designed - its hard or not obvious when you see it in YT videos

It works with every Fenix and the Inibuilds stuff including the A330.

edit: using SimAppPro the included software.

Try Mobiflight - the profiles include some lighting info I think so it might be slightly different than your experience with SimAppPro. Not having the same issue with Mobiflight.

Also Richard, I don't know if it will help but I have had a firmware update on my unit. I didn't seem to change anything for me and it was a painless process.

Thanks much but I updated to latest last night - I asked support about updating firmware in the future but they didn't answer me so thinking is what it is - take care

Hi Rich, long time no talk.  Out of curiosity, in the SimPro App there is a slider to control the backlighting, did you by chance see this and or attempt to use it to brighten the unit.

Hello my Good Friend - nice to hear from you

Yes I did that's not the issue - they have tinted lenses - if your directly in front of them its pretty dim if you stand up and look down on it it gets brighter

So lenses are dark - They mentioned putting a 5v power supply on it and that helped wish it was a bit brighter

All the other lights are really bright lot of leeway - but they dont have lenses over them - no biggie for the price I cant complain 🙂

Stay well my Friend - thanks for reaching out
