49" Ultrawide with Fenix
I have a 49” and I use a TrackIR with a wireless Track clip pro. Once you try it, there is no going back. It feels very natural.

Bored during flight? Just have some fun with AI.
As a person who has worked with robotics and automation in the tool making, fabricating, manufacturing space since the late 1980's. I can say that I have seen the evolution of real world AI and that it has a hell of a way to go to be of much value in my space.

Honeycomb Alpha Yoke strange behavior (FS 2024)
I had the same problem. The plug from the yoke loosens and loses connection after age and use. I just wedged paper to tighten up the connection and mine has been working fine since. Every once in awhile I have to readjust the wedge. edit: check both ends of the cable between the yoke and the base Hope this helps

Sound Popping & Stuttering
I have a 9800X3D and used to have the problem. I solved it by purchasing a cheap SB sound card. I'm discovering from this topic that the problem might have been related to my CPU? My sound problem would occur when the system was being taxed too hard. Flying into places like KLAX, KJFK etc.

A fairy tale with a happy ending
If the wolf is so bad.... Personally I like to spend a little in the store. Helps to keep the big wigs interested, investing in the ongoing development.

SU3 is what MSFS 2024 should have been at release
I've left MSFS2024 running for days at a time. Sometimes there is no hit to fps, sometimes the hit is 50% and or every thing in between. In these instances I have noticed higher than normal Vram but always with still plenty of headroom left. For the who? why? and where? You would have to ask Mr. Owl 😉

Free ai atc( say intentions)
I subbed for about a year and a half. What killed SI for me was... Promising for months and months to have Traffic and then putting an experimental version behind a paywall, all the while as people are paying them a subscription. All the promises and they just keep focusing on more fluff and adding more pay walls. The sub should be $5 a month My 2-cents

A world of difference
Well after a few flights and a number of touch n goes at KSEA I can say that both 2024 and 2020 preform more fluidly with the Bios setting. In my bios its named "Turbo Game Mode" it does more than just shut down one CCD according to the bios description. In 2024 there is some kind of a transition going on after the takeoff roll when you hit about 200'-300' I always get a few micro stutters and at some of the heavier airports these can be more pronounced. The bios setting eliminates these stutters for me at KSEA, the Xbox game bar method does not.

A world of difference
I have no idea of all the intricacies involved, but turning this option on and off is like turning on and off a switch. I'd need instructions on how to set my system up the other way. Now I'm curious.... is it better??? A flightsimmer's life is never satisfied lol

A world of difference
This computer is 100% dedicated to MSFS Will that give me any kind of benefit? I have no expertise edit: I still have eight cores, will the cpu run cooler only using the one CCD? etc. etc.

A world of difference
Just finished a flight from KSEA to PAKT Any micro stutters I think I have are through me and my TrackIR. If I pause my TrackIR things are as fluid as a movie. That's at a TLOD of 300, at 400 I can tell that my system is being taxed too much, 300 is my sweet spot. The difference in fluidity is profound.

A world of difference
My mb is a Asus Strix x670-e paired with a 7950X3D, 64 gigs ram and 4090. With 2024 and 2020 l get really good performance with the usual annoying micro stutters. I usually make a habit of checking and updating my bios every 6 months or so. This last change with bios 2604 made major changes to the bios settings from my last bios. There was one setting in particular. One in the Ai Tweaker that is a gaming setting and warns you that other applications may be effected negatively. When I tried the setting and flew with 2024 I was getting a huge improvement in fluidity with a modest increase in fps. But I would randomly recieve stutters with audio cutouts. A little bit of research and I was reading about latency. I unplugged my speakers from my onboard sound and played them through my 4090, monitor and no more stutters. The difference for me is black and white in fluidity and reduction in micro stuttering. I have not tested 2020 yet. I have no idea if other motherboards have a similar bios update.

WinWing MCDU AND CDU'S. They look Good.
With SpadNext and Mobiflight you can program WinWing's FCU and EFIS. I'd imagine the MCU and FMC will be similar. I'll be finding out at any rate.

WinWing MCDU AND CDU'S. They look Good.
I received my unit about 3 weeks after my preorder but I also live in a major port where pretty much everything from Asia enters my country.I've also had more than my share of deliveries come very late or not arrive at all. I have a free greenhouse that arrived 18 months late. I hope you get your combo soon, something I fear has gone wrong.

What the heck is happening with my MS2020!!!
Define stable I totally understand the complexities and frustrations of getting devices to communicate and play nice together. It can be extra frustrating waiting on third parties to get with the program. I'm happy I'm retired now, I can do that type of thing now for fun 🙂

Winwing FCU Brightness help
Also Richard, I don't know if it will help but I have had a firmware update on my unit. I didn't seem to change anything for me and it was a painless process.

Winwing FCU Brightness help
It works with every Fenix and the Inibuilds stuff including the A330. edit: using SimAppPro the included software.

Winwing FCU Brightness help
Hmm... Mine matches the Fenix quite closely. Have you tried a different usb? I have mine plugged into a 2.0 and it works fine.

Winwing FCU Brightness help
Have you tried using the aircraft controls to control the brightness? edit: There are 4 knobs under the Fenix FCU and one near the center will control the brightness of your winwing

MSFS2024 what does it really have to offer?
A successful game or app typically has a retention rate of 30–40% on day one, about 20% on day seven, and 5–10% on day 30. Player retention is the percentage of users who remain active within a specific time frame after purchasing or downloading a game. Games with high retention rates are generally more successful than those with low retention rates. Some factors that can contribute to player drop-out in massively multiplayer online games include: Latency or performance issues and In-game features. According to MIDiA Research, 53% of gamers prefer single-player games. I don't know.... Maybe FS2024 is doing pretty good?
