January 18, 20251 yr Youre description of the problem is kind of unclear. Do you say the graphics are there, but the plane is without power on its cockpit displays? If you can see the scenery and the plane in outside view, something may have gone wrong with the installation of the plane but the display driver is ok. To fix this, i'd rather uninstall the plane an install it again. Make a copy of the textures you added and of the aircraft.cfg with the definitions for the liveries, that you can rebuild it later. Also the shader cache needs to be deleted, if you installed a new video driver recently. To delete your shaders goto C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Lockheed Martin\Prepar3D v5\Shaders and delete all files there This may be a shaders problem too. P.S. I started the update manager today and it wanted to update the addon manager. Ok did that. After this, it lost the previous installation of the plane in P3D5. Ok so I installed it again. Quickly checked the files dates. The newest from tfdi dated 28th July 2021. So my conclusion, there is no update to the plane. After adding my repaints, I loaded the sim and selected the plane. In the cockpit all was dark, dark windows, dark screens. The sim was paused. After unpausing it, everything came to life. Maybe it's just that easy. Don't know about the ORBX install but that should work the same. Maybe check with the tfdi addon manager, what it says there. Did you install reallight and trueglass? January 20, 20251 yr Author Thanks a lot for the suggestions. I updated the video driver, but I probably forgot to delete the shader cache. It was Orbx central that had two updates, TFDi 717 and EGLC2. I have uninstalled and reinstalled 717 without success. The scenery and graphics are there, only EFB, displays and radios are black. I can also start the APU, but that doesn't help. I haven't updated reallight and trueglass, I'll try that. I'll get back with the results. Thanks. Thor Thor H
January 20, 20251 yr Haven’t used the plane in a long time but I have the same issue after updating in Central. Seems this bird has always been a problem child of one sort or another. Unusual high VRAM usage for me. Vic green

January 25, 20251 yr No on Simmarket I got offered an update to the 717 too. It says official v6 support and some language issues fixed. I will not load it, since it's not worth the potential hassle. February 2, 20251 yr Author Some corrections, I have corresponded with TFDI Customer Support, not ORBX. TFDI suggests I contact ORBX as they are unable to resolve the issue. Thor H

February 3, 20251 yr @trening @yrodin I got the update also offered via TFDi Desing Addon Manager. It works fine, see pic. Suggest to completely uninstall the plane with ORBX Central, move remaining directories of the plane to another drive into a temp directory, then re-install the plane. With the moved remaining files you can add your liveries again in case you have added some.
