February 7, 20251 yr Author I think updating Winwing products is mandatory when you receive them, before the first use. But it doesn't mean it changes something ! BTW, in the software they ask to disconnect all USB devices from the computer before updating the firmware, but I never did it and had zero problem. What I suggest however is to disconnect your MCDU before updating the FMC so as to have only one Winwing device connected during the update. 😉 Edited February 7, 20251 yr by David Roch - PC Hardware: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D // Asus ROG Crosshair X870E HERO // 2x32Gb Corsair Dominator Titanium DDR5 6000MT/s CL30 // ASUS ROG Strix GeForce RTX 4090 OC Edition // 4Tb Corsair NVMe M.2 MP600 // Corsair 1600W PSU Samsung Odyssey Arc 55" curved 165 Hz monitor. - Simulator Hardware: VIRPIL Constellation Alpha Prime + VIRPIL VPC Universal Control Panel - #3 + MOZA AY210 Force Feedback Yoke + WINWING URSA MINOR 32 Throttle & PAC Metal + WINWING SKYWALKER Metal Rudder Pedals + WINWING Airbus FCU & EFIS + WINWING Boeing 3N PAP + WINWING MCDU-32 + WINWING PFP-4 + WINWING PFP 3-N + WINWING PFP-7.

I freak out from firmware updates, worrying it might fail for any reason !! I will now unbox my PFP3N unit and test it for the first time. February 7, 20251 yr I did the update before the first flight. But as David wrote, you have to remove other USB devices, like stick, yoke rudder etc. AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, MSI RTX 5090, 64GB RAM 6000MHz DDR5, Tuf Gaming X870Plus, 1200W PSU English is not my first language.
