Yep. Radiation is the main concern. There are relatively high levels on the surface of Mars but manageable. Interestingly, nuclear electric is potentially even faster.
January 23, 20251 yr If we are going to venture beyond our moon, we will need something other than chemical rockets. 2 months travel time certainly beats 6 months of travel time.
