On the main page of the AVSIM forum is a link to a free tutorial for the B737 simulator. The file type is *.avi. I downloaded this file but I cannot get the video portion of the file to play. I've tried using Windows Media Player which is supposed to play this type of file - only the audio plays.Is there anyone that knows how to get this tutorial to properly play?ThanksPS If this is posted in the wrong place I'm sorry.fb

Go back to the download page. There you will find instructions to download the divx codec which allows the video to play in Media Player or you can use the divx player.

The vlc player is what I used for all my videos once in while Ill use media player but its rare vlc will play almost all videos .mkv .divx xvid etc etc
