MSFS 2020 AIG AI Help

Featured Replies

I am having massive issues with the installer, I install it but once I select MSFS 2020 on the drop down menu the entire progam crashes. I have re-installed everything too many times. Is anyone else having this issue ?

Did you run it as admin? Why not use their actual support forum?

Hi dave I did run It as Admin, Im just seeing what people know here to be honest

Hmm, have you set an exclusion from your AV/ system security for the whole AIG_AIManager folder?

I only mention their actual support forum as there are far more users there that can actually help that aren't on this forum.

The only puzzling thing I can see here instantly is that both MSFS2020 and MSFS2024 installations point to the same path on J:\, which can not be correct.

Greetings, Chris

did you point to the correct folders of  both sims correctly when installing  aig, if all else  fails you can delete everything  related to aig including all folders  and   re install.

Why do you have the 2020 and the 2024 going to the same folder and directory? They should be in separate folders or locations. And there's a separate AIG install manager for 2024 that you must use to install and modify 2024 AI traffic files. And a separate AIG manager for your 2020 installation and modifications of files. Traffic controller can be used for both sims.

Hi Pete, I just ran the executable from the zip file, where it ran an auto update. All of the files installed and then I re-opened the programe expecting to select my sim then go from there, but the program just quits. I can't even get to that point yet

Hi Mate - How do I stop this. I find it really odd aswell. I think this could be the issue here aswell. I don't have 2024. The only thing that could cause an Issue is the fact that I bought my copy of 2020 from Steam.

Doesn't make a difference where you purchased your copy of MSFS. If you downloaded the2020 version of AIG manager, which I believe you have, then put the separate zip file in a folder on desktop and call it AIG_2020 and unzip. Open the properties of the .exe file and go to compatibility tab and check run as administrator. I load all my AIG files in another separate folder inside my add on linker folder I made called AIG_2020 and point the installer to that location and let it do its thing. But if you're using the J:\Microsoft flight simulator packages, make sure you delete or move everything in that folder and let it rebuild it again.
