China sending back planes it ordered.

"China has sent back planes it ordered from the US

Kelly Ortberg said two planes had already been returned and another would follow after trade tensions between the two countries escalated.

Boeing's chief executive told CNBC that 50 more planes were due to go to China this year but their customers had indicated they will not take delivery of them."

I wonder how much that has cost Boeing?

You may not be worried Dave, but there are some people I know, including myself, who are.  Retired seniors on fix incomes for whom 'a little more expensive' for you is 'a lot more expensive' for them.  For example, I like to eat half an avocado for lunch every day.  Two months ago they were well affordable.  A month ago they became just affordable.  Today I can't afford them and don't know if I ever will.  Just one more small luxury I will have to give up.

What are you talking about?  Avocados are $1 at Walmart, and I saw 5 for 4$ at Kroger the other day.

Many fruits and vegetables are exempt from the 25% charge.

I believe that Social Security recipients got a 3.2% increase last year, so how is the income "fixed"?.  We're all on "fixed incomes" to some degree, as most of us can't exactly demand a pay increase every year and some of us rely on investment earnings which go up and down with no guaranteed increase every year.  Frankly, I'm tired of hearing "fixed income" nonsense from elderly folks on Social Security and Medicare as if you are all victims.  Medicare is a huge and expensive subsidized health insurance program.  Without it, someone 65 or older would be paying $1500-$2000 a month for health insurance.  Do you factor this in to your income?  Moreover, it is estimated that the average retiree on SS and Medicare will get 2-3 times what they actually payed into the programs in benefits.  That sounds like a pretty good deal to me.  Heck, I payed into the program for over 30 years, but I might only get 80% of my benefits when I reach retirement age as the program has been neglected by our fearless leaders and will not have enough funds to pay out 100% of owed benefits by 2033.

Your bias shines through in many of your posts BTW.  If this had happened, say, 6 months ago, you wouldn't be complaining.
