July 14, 200817 yr I'm sorry I disagree about the OOMs. I recently re-installed Vista32 and FSX went into a spas mode and crashed to the desktop every time I tried to fly (out of memory). A friend of mine reminded that there is a stand-alone "fix" for Windows that is meant to deal with OOMs. You can get the fix on the MS site (also see FSInsider). If you're running Vista and you installed SP1 the fix in in this service pack.I have a max'd out FSX install and this update corrected all my OOMs.fb
July 15, 200817 yr It's an old pic, Rhett, but the two rear mounts slide on a pair of those slotted wall shelf brackets held down by a pair of wallboard screws: inside each bracket I've laid a hacksaw blade secured by one of the screws at one end, and then greased it so's the seat will slide. The centre slide is similar, except it's mounted about 6" higher, the front off the column mount box and the back sitting on a 1" x 6" x 6". I recently put some 2 x 2 wood under them to give me a better height.s118.photobucket.com/albums/o83/pj_3_bucket/Controls/?action=view¤t=Picture006.jpgI couldn't figure out how to get a URL into the post, so just paste the above link onto the end of an "http://" in your browser.:+ i7 [email protected] | 32GB RAM | EVGA RTX 3080Ti | Maximus Hero VII | 512GB 860 Pro | 512GB 850 Pro | 256GB 840 Pro | 2TB 860 QVO | 1TB 870 EVO | Seagate 3TB Cloud | EVGA 1000 GQ | Win10 Pro | EK Custom water cooling.
