Winwing and the MaddogX

Featured Replies

Hi , i have the FCU+EFIS L+R and both the FMC 737 and the MCDU A320.

I havent figured out a way to use the MCDU or FMC for the FMS for the MaddogX using the profile on fltsim.to.

Also the backlight stays bright on both the FCU plus both FMC/MCDU.

Funny thing is that when running the FCU profile only the display on the FMC737 shows the FMS MaddogX inputs but no buttons work.

I have forgot how to merge a FCU profile with a FMC profile btw?

I thought it was easy with the A350 but cant find the merge in Mobiflight.

Anyone suceeded with the MaddogX?

MSFS2020 or 24?

Thanks Michael Moe

Mike-

I have the EFIS L + FCU and the FCU works well.  I cannot get the EFIS to work- but no experience with MCDU (pre-ordered but waiting).

This is in 2020 and 2024.

I may be mis understanding you but are you saying you have gotten the FCU to work as a MCDU? Anyone had luck getting the 737FCU to work in the 777?

I found SPAD to be about 20x easier to merge things together with, since there are often snips made for the device, and you can just save per-aircraft profiles with per-device configs. It was much easier than trying to make heads or tails of the Mobiflight files and I still find the software easier.

Just my $0.02.

Also LSH will have to add screen broadcast for the FMC in order for the display to come over to the Winwing CDU. I'm not sure how simple that is - Just Flight was asked about the Avro RJ and they basically punted, but didn't say "no."

I’m quite sure there will be a SPAD snip shortly if there isn’t one already. PMDG already broadcast the data - always have I think. I’d check the SPAD beta Discord channels

Latest Leonardo MaddogX supports MCDU now as a FMS.

When i use the FCU profile my FMC737 is actually the one displayed though.

My problem is how to use the profile for the FMS from flightsim.to. in Mobiflight and 2024.
