Auto Ortho - Cache size

Featured Replies

Hi Everybody,

Just curious what others are using for a cache size in Auto Ortho, I have it set at 30GB. Would their be any benefit increasing or decreasing the size?

Good question. I have put it on 50GB I think but what I do is actually delete the cached-data all 30-60 minutes myself 😅

i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM

If you fly through the same area you usually do not delete the cache, what the cache does is not to have to go down and process again the images where you fly through.

My Enhanced Scenery is at 32GB CACHE with Apple orthos.

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

I just max mine out at 500GB and go and delete it every now and then when it gets to 250GB or so.
