MS2024 Ships

Featured Replies

Who provides cruise ships for 2024? I have cruise ships in small canals where they should not be.

I have searched for GAIST and Seafront Simulations but found nothing.

So who else provides Cruise Ships ??

It's probably the default sea traffic by Gaya you are seeing.

OK how do I remove them ?

GAIST model matching is not perfect. Yesterday I did check the Main Schiff 2 and it was show as a big Evergreen tanker. That is a model matching bug.

Another problem is in real AIS data. Some boat owners do not have configured their boat information correctly. So some leisure boat can be configured as a cruise ship.

Only solution for that is to set Sea Traffic OFF.

I have done a complete search for GAIST and it comes up with nothing.

(Only solution for that is to set Sea Traffic OFF.)  Where do I find that ?

Yes, but setting Sea Traffic to OFF presumably disables the GAIST ships at the same time?

My bad, I thought you didn't have GAIST installed, since you said you can't find anything about it.

If you have it installed and those are GAIST ships, the issue is caused by the bad MSFS AIS data as Kassu62 said and the only fix seems to be to select offline traffic instead of live.

Thanks Kassu62. That helped 🙂

I use SeaFront and there were about 30 boats in Lake Tahoe today.  Seems pretty accurate since today was Memorial day here in the US.
