Missing texture(s)

Yes - but WHY?

I fly over the same general area (So Cal coast to Mojave) almost 100% of the time.  I have 128GB rolling cache and 128 GB Map Enhancement cache.

Why will a tile be loaded three times in a row and then the fourth time I fly over it - it is a variegated mosaic of primary colors?

What happens if you do not use the Map Enhancement?

Same problem - different mix of colors.  And, when I switch from Google to Bing in Map Enhancement the colors change, the locations change.

The problem comes and goes.  Some sessions I see a lot of "missed textures" - other sessions (most) the "strange" tile is a rare but not impossible event.

Minor annoyance - but a curiosity.

Hmm, have not run into that yet.. 😉  Ground textures are loading reliably..

Bert

I would delete the rolling cache and recreate a new one, if needed. if there is a problematic tile (missing, defect), the simulator may use it again every flight instead of re-loading a new one.
