I moved to New Zealand in 2011, and I will say Inside Edition has been my comfort food ever sinse, I love these Cat Up A Tree story, it reminds me of living back in North America

What I liked about this incident is thinking about it from the kid’s perspective.  He’s been trained that in an emergency he should call 911 for help but at his age catching his mom eating what he thinks should be his ice cream is criminal.  I can remember being that age and how distorted that simple perception of things is.  Like this girl whose father takes her tongue out and puts it back in and how it terrifies her, she literally experiences it as a fact:
