July 29, 2025Jul 29 I have a Navigraph subscription, which I used extensively in MSFS 2020/2024. However, in XP12, the Navigraph plugin is causing a rhythmic stutter - roughly once every second. It really impacts performance and makes it difficult to use. Has anyone found a workaround for this? As it stands, I can't use Navigraph in XP12 with that kind of stutter. July 29, 2025Jul 29 I dont have any problems with navigraph simlink plugin. My Youtube Channel Hardware Intel i7 14700k, Gigabyte Z690 UD, Gigabyte RTX 4070TI Gaming OC, Corsair Vegeance RGB 32GB Kit CL16
July 29, 2025Jul 29 No issues here with a dinosaur of a system. Perhaps some "disagreement" amongst plug-in's? The Simlink updates often. Do you have the latest version?

Do you have the latest version? I'm having the same issue using my second copy of XP12 which is default, used for beta testing. I do have the latest version. July 29, 2025Jul 29 That’s weird; I also never had any such issues because of the simlink-plugin… i9 12900k, RTX 3090, 32GB RAM
July 29, 2025Jul 29 Author Really odd nobody seems to have this issue. Soon as I disable simlink the stutter goes. I posted on the Navigraph forum. July 31, 2025Jul 31 Author Just in case one of you clever people can help with this stutter, I have created a couple of videos to show the problem. Firstly in Plugin Admin under the performance tab you can see Simlink causing the stutter every one second. In the second video you see the XP12 MicroProfiler showing the stutter causing a long Frame Time every one second. August 7, 2025Aug 7 Author Huge thanks to Navigraph for the excellent support. I had XP12 installed on an external drive that was running at 100% usage, which caused Navigraph to constantly ping XP12, trying to get time for itself. Navigraph helped by installing a new copy of XP12 on my internal SSD — and now the stutter is gone! The sim runs much smoother too. August 7, 2025Aug 7 The root sim should definitely be on the ssd. Use symlinks in the root sim folders pointing to the usb drive if storage space is a problem. Friendly reminder: WHITELIST AVSIM IN YOUR AD-BLOCKER. Especially if you're on a modern CPU that can run a flight simulator well. These web servers aren't free...
