  1. In that case, however, you should direct your criticism straight to the person who created the product—rather than posting it in some forum that the creator might not even read. Otherwise, how do you expect your "constructive" criticism to actually lead to an improvement? After all, if a chef has let the food burn, it does no good to voice your criticism to a garbage collector; how else is the chef supposed to improve their skills?
  2. The decisive difference between general criticism and constructive criticism lies in the intention and the manner of formulation. General criticism evaluates or finds fault with a behavior and often proves demotivating, whereas constructive criticism is constructive in nature, objectively analyzes errors, and offers the recipient concrete solutions for improvement. In that case, your criticism is in no way constructive.
  3. The way I see it, you only have the right to criticize if you can do it better yourself. Anyone who merely criticizes without having any ability of their own is just a troublemaker.
  4. I wonder, then, what's the point of credit cards if people don't want to use them to pay?
  5. Setting up an online shop with a payment system and everything that goes with it costs money. That's probably why Armin is taking the path that's cheaper and easier for him. Those who cling to principles miss out on the fun of life.
  6. You should think about who you're hurting more by doing this?
  7. So, after testing organizer.py, I also tried x-Addon-Oxide. Here too, the sorting wasn't quite right in the end. It's probably me; I'm a custom scenery junkie. Besides various payware airports, I have countless heliports worldwide. Then there's Alpine and Himalayan scenery with its own mesh. Plus, almost complete Ortho4xp coverage of Europe. The rest of the world is covered with AutoOrtho. Of course, there are also the necessary libraries. For Germany, I have a ton of VFR scenery. The Python script and Oxide both have problems with this, as they sometimes recognize libraries as scenery and vice versa. And with Oxide, manually re-sorting is much more cumbersome compared to XOrganizer. That's why I spent today working with Wine and XOrganizer. After I managed to install dotnet48, getting XOrganizer running was no problem.
  8. Hi, if you mean the Python script Organizer.py, it works for me. However, the result isn't great. For example, the Simheaven scenery is sorted behind orthos. The libraries are scattered everywhere. Some VFR scenery is sorted with the airports. The only good thing is that it's alphabetically sorted. I'll test it again; maybe it was something I was doing wrong.
  9. I've been using Linux (OpenSUSE) for about 30 years. However, I have Windows 11 in a dual-boot configuration for X-Plane. What prevented me from switching to Linux was TrackIR. Now I've found linuxtrack, or rather, the fork LinuxTrack-X-IR by fwfa. https://gitlab.com/fwfa123/linuxtrackx-ir I wanted to compile it. But OpenSUSE Leap 16 didn't have everything I needed to do that. So I switched to Kubuntu. With Kubuntu, I was able to compile linuxtrack-x-ir with support for TrackIR and X-Plane. If I can now get X-Organizer running with Wine, then the final switch to Linux will happen.
  10. Hallo, normaly Simheaven put the most tree at the right Position. In the Aerosoft Forum their is a New mod for Simheaven for better positoning of trees. https://forum.aerosoft.com/index.php?/topic/178066-7-forests-alternative/page/
  11. I dont have any problems with navigraph simlink plugin.
  12. Hello, I had this problem once too. The solution for me was that one of the dial (potentiometer) on my joystick was set to Mixture. When I set this dial to nothing, the problem was solved.
  13. What you're looking for is Navigraph Charts. It can import routes created in Simbrief or create its own. This program isn't integrated with X-Plane, but can be run in parallel and accessed at any time, either from the Windows menu bar or by pressing CTRL+Tab. The AVITab tool also allows you to display the flight route, the charts, and link it with Simbrief.
  14. With the Aeroworx DC3 in the Lufthansa polish liverie over Bavaria/Germany
  15. I just took a look at the avsim library. I was last there back in the FSX days. Once you're there, you'll see how well-structured the org download area is.
  16. Hello, It doesn't really make sense to copy aircraft from XP11 to XP12, as the flight dynamics engine has changed. As communicated in many forums and also by Laminar itself, the cockpit lighting will be revised and visibility improved in version 12.2. I think Laminar knows what it's doing. But it can't do anything about problems that occur in front of the screen.
  17. Hello, https://www.aerosoft.com/de/shop/flight/x-plane/x-plane-11/flugzeuge/ https://secure.simmarket.com/aircraft-(de_777)-page-1.chtml
  18. And it is fine to have a Plattform you can do this.
  19. There are people who are so dissatisfied with themselves that they cannot be satisfied with anything.
  20. Hello, I made a short test with the Toliss A321. I startet X-plane 12.1.4-r3 with all my Plugin and cannot see an FPS dropp while I'm putting the ISCS-Window an my second Monitor.
  21. A few years ago I had the pleasure of being able to carry out one take-off and two landings in a Lufthansa full-motion simulator. Was I now sitting in a simulator or a video game machine? In the background there were computers that created the appropriate videos of the flight movement on the projection surface. You could only create these if you knew how to calculate movement relative to a position, like in a video game. So what is it, a simulator or a video game? Is it a simulator when pilots use it to practice, or is it a video game because a non-pilot enjoys it for leisure?
  22. Hello folks, my wife always asks me when I go into my computer room. Well, you go flying again. So she doesn't say that I'm going to play. So it's a simulator. It's that simple. 😄
  23. Ortho4xp requires the mesh of the surrounding tiles to create a tile. If you don't have any files installed for these eight tiles, it will download the missing standard mesh.
  24. Im using X-World from Simheaven, Ortho4Xp for my homecountry and Autoortho for the other countrys. GHD also works fine in XP12. Also I use some payware Airports, like EDDF, EDDS, EDDB, LSZH and HGLL. Because I live to fly Helicopters i have a lot Freeware Heliports from xplane.org.
  25. This is working fine for me Accumulated snow if you use real weather and the snow has fallen the last days and not at the current day, this mod gives you a snowy scenery. it also works with ortho4xp and autoortho.
