Brand new to X-Plane. What is the command to get the native Navigraph panel to pop up like this in the Sim? MSFS 2024 has a Navigraph shortcut. What is the XP12 way?

@alanw2005 You have to install the free plugin AviTab. It allows you to connect your navigraph-account and have all charts available inside the sim.

What you're looking for is Navigraph Charts. It can import routes created in Simbrief or create its own. This program isn't integrated with X-Plane, but can be run in parallel and accessed at any time, either from the Windows menu bar or by pressing CTRL+Tab. The AVITab tool also allows you to display the flight route, the charts, and link it with Simbrief.

Hi Franz. I have Navigraph and Avitab, but Navigraph only shows up on the EFB. IIRC there was no Metar.

Yes it shows on the EFB or you can also open it from the menu and will get a window popping in. It’s for charts only. But you can get a metar when opening the charts, on the very bottom of the first page. I am not at my PC, so I cannot show you a printscreen.

But it’s for charts and you won’t see your route like you can in MSFS2024. For that I think that there is an overlay you can view from the navigraph-app. Since this is very unrealistic I never tried that. But if you want to see where exactly your aircraft is on a map, you can also see that with AviTab (tab « maps »).

I honestly don't use Avitab although I even have it in the plugins folder...

I prefer to open Charts on a 2nd monitor... I have there full display, and simlink works...

I use both together, sometimes it's just more immersive to use the onboard charts in the EFB 🙂

shout out for littlenavmap that does a really good job of this.

If I toggle tablet from the top menu, a bigger version of the EFB opens. Not the Native Navigraph panel. Look at Q8 pilots video at 13:26. He effortlessly opens the native Navigraph panel:

I agree. But I access to all the Navigraph data in the cockpit as I screen record.

Hi Dirk. I see that you are opening other windows in the sim but you are not in full screen mode. The other Youtubers don't have to leave full screen mode.

It looks like he does the same as me> CTRL-ALT-DEL and selecting the right browser-window. In my opinion that’s the most convenient way 🙂
