Taking what may be the best default 2024 aircraft, and a stunning livery from TimHH ( https://flightsim.to/file/96056/microsoft-grumman-hu-16-albatross-n99tp-dynamic-registration ) from Long Beach California to Avalon (Santa Catalina Island - AVX)

Mike Johnson (of LotusSim fame) did the HU16 Grumman Albatross and he knocked it out of the park.  SU3 will contain a huge upgrade of this bird as well!

Head out to sea!  But it's no problem for the Albatross as it can easily land in the ocean

Mike has modeled all the nooks and crannies... including the front port hole (you can get down there using default key commands but first you need to open the door under the cockpit).  You'll also find the usable anchor in there!
