October 18, 200817 yr Yes, but not all aircraft. It happens a lot on my Pilatus PC-12 after a long flight.
October 18, 200817 yr I'd be willing to bet you are parked near a refueling area. It's a known issue that I've experienced, and I have seen it discussed in other forums. After I moved the plane away from the fueling area normal operation returned. There is no answer to the problem that I know of. Best Regards,Robert Kerr 3D Modeler & Texture Artist
October 18, 200817 yr I have also had this with the PC-12. I'm not sure what it is but my senior's memory seems to recall that it may be an aircraft configuration thing. Make sure your parking brake is on and electrics are switched off before operating the door. Parking position as suggsted may also be an issue. October 19, 200817 yr Author Moderator Robert is absolutely correct.Your a/c is parked too close to a refueling stand. Move to another spot. Fr. Bill AOPA Member: 07141481 AARP Member: 3209010556 Avsim Board of Directors | Avsim Forums Moderator
