Looking for repaints for A2A C182

Featured Replies

Hello, I am trying, and most unsuccessfully, to find repaints for my A2A C182.  I even found this website that had a list of A2A C182 liveries and links to find them.  However, most of those download links are dead.  I tried searching the web and freeware sites but came up mostly empty.  It makes me really sad that there's so few repaints for this airplane because it's one of my top favorite GA planes to fly.  Does anyone know where the heck I can find some C182 liveries?  The default liveries are soooo boring.

Thanks

Edit: I would even be willing to donate to someone to make some good repaints for me and to share with the world.  I know I'm not the only one that likes this airplane.

Well, what do you know, I forgot to check the AVSIM library lmao!  I found 10 of them so far.  I can't believe that I searched everywhere but there.  What is strange though, is that none of those did not come up during web searches I was doing.

What is sad though, is most of the repaints that I found on that database site that showed all A2A repaints(I forget the name of it) had the repaints that I liked the most (the site showed litttle pictures of the repaints),the links were dead.

So it looks like all that the AVSIM database has is 10 repaints in total.  Some of them are a bit conservative imo, but there still better than having to look at the default liveries.

I just recently bought the A2A C172 during a sale they had and I found tons of repaints for it everywhere, I wonder why there are so few that have survived over the years.

I really wish a lot more of those livery painters that created such amazing liveries for the C182 would have uploaded them to freeware sites to keep them from disappearing.  Most were posted on the A2A forum and most of the links are dead.

People's priorities change as they move through their lives, plus there are those who have passed and there's also been many software products abandoned and lost due to business failure / partner breakups and such, actually happens all the time and not just in flight simming.

The above said there are a bunch of A2A c182 liveries at https://edrm-repaints.com/aircraft?id=c182

It's a bit of a slow site but the fellow is quite the artist / painter and had made lots of repaints for many different smaller aircraft.

Cheers

Yeah, that is very true.  As someone that used older FS's like FSX and P3D I've see it happen a lot over the years too.

Thank you so much for sharing that link Rogen!  This guy made some real beauties.  I especially like the green one and the red one, but they all look fantastic.
