What is the name of the keyboard controller file(s?) and where is it located?

I can't find any ACCURATE true info on this.

Info for both the Steam and Microsoft version would be appreciated for all people.

I thought this data was saved in the cloud? I saw that because every time I've done a complete reinstall of Windows etc and I reinstall either 2020 or 2024, as soon as I log in to my Microsoft XBox Account it automatically remembers all my controller bindings....

For the MS Store version, I believe that the original files (e.g., “Keyboard 2024 Transversal”) are protected and not readable, unlike the Steam version.

What you can do is duplicate these original files (e.g., “Copy Keyboard 2024 Transversal”). They will then be readable in XML format in the custom files directory.

I periodically make a backup copy of my wgs folder. 

Also, in FS2024, you can Export your controller profiles to a folder of your choice, and then if needed at some point, Import those saved profiles to restore your bindings setup.
