August 27, 2025Aug 27 Just booted up FS2024 and got this popup. Never seen this before, I've had 2024 on my PC for 7 months. I've got an i91400F, 32Gig of fast RAM, 4070Ti Super and an SSD. My system assuredly does meet minimum requirements. What the heck is going on? Edit - got an error message on start up - Error DXGI_ERROR_DRIVER_INTERNAL_ERROR and now my PC is saying I don't have a GPU. This isn't good. Any ideas here, besides the obvious that someone my barely broken in 4070 just got smoked? Edited August 27, 2025Aug 27 by 11bee
August 28, 2025Aug 28 Sounds like MSFS 2024 found your integrated GPU and not your 4070. Best way to make sure this never happens is to disable the integrated GPU in BIOS/EFI. Edited August 28, 2025Aug 28 by SayAgain Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. - Carl Sagan

My kid did it and didn’t want to tell me ! 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen
August 28, 2025Aug 28 Author Had Alienware remote in and it turns out that my card's driver simply "disappeared" Never heard of that before and I'm hoping it's not a precursor of other issues but he installed the latest driver and it looks like I'm up and running again. We'll see how it goes when I attempt a flight tonight.

Never seen this before Earlier this week I got a popup (and I'm paraphrasing) telling me too many people were playing the game so I've been put into a queue, I could wait or come back and try again later. Waited 5 minutes to see what would happen and then restarted the sim .... happened again. Third time was the charm though, and FS2024 loaded to main menu. If FS2024 is already running out of server logins at this point in its lifecycle it's past the time to start looking for alternatives. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe

Might that be simply a surge of new people jumping in to try SU3? We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. I couldn't believe the sim was as bad as some people were saying and had to find out for myself. It wasn't that bad three months ago, and isn't that bad now. It's every bit as useable as the 2020 version but has much better visuals. However I wouldn't mind if the upper management were given permanent vacations and some young lions were brought in with a different mindset. -J 13700KF | RTX 4090 @ 1440 | 64GB DDR5 | 2 x 1TB SSDs | 1TB M.2 NVMe
