September 4, 2025Sep 4 Looking at building a mid-range PC. I found this recently posted video on building a high, mid, and low cost PC for use with MSFS 2024. How's the mid-range PC list of components look for $1600. Jeff
September 4, 2025Sep 4 Great PC, good value for money. The 7800X3D is very capable still and the 5070Ti is simply a last generation card sitting in that sweet spot of price/performance. You could consider the 9070XT as well though, it's a beast in MSFS2024. 32Gb is good too, as is the MB. 1TB SSD is a bit light on, especially when you use many add-ons, but easy enough to chuck another SSD in down the track. So yeah, can't really fault it for $1600! Anything short of a 9950X3D and a 5090Ti is considered mid-range by some simmers, yet when you start seeing people on these forums talk about their hardware the real mid-range is much, much lower.
