The BB Porter really is the gold standard, not just as a Porter but as a flight model in general.  It was the first plane for 2020 that struck me as feeling anything like an airplane, and it's still g

The aircraft received a very poor review which, I believe, was total unjustified. The only thing I would like to see changed is the position of the of those nasty 2 click buttons to somewhere else less intrusive. Under the auto pilot and more like a normal button.

I love flying the aircraft.

If you can walk away it's a good landing

It's incredible how good language translators are now. It seems like the language barrier no longer exists.

I don't understand German but I was able to view the video in English using captions and YouTube's auto generated translator. The things we take for granted nowadays. Simply amazing.

Hardware: i7-8700k, GTX 1070-ti, 32GB ram, NVMe/SSD drives with lots of free space.
Software: latest Windows 10 Pro, P3Dv4.5+, FSX Steam, and lots of addons (100+ mostly Orbx stuff).

Aside from a few frills here and there, doesn't seem like there's a lot to warrant switching from the BB PC-6. OTOH there's a compelling backstory so I might buy it anyway and keep as a backup to mess around with personally. Worth supporting these developers. One thing I did notice in watching AVAngel's video was the absence of a stall horn when landing on the sandbar, altho there was a stall warning light. I key off the stall horn a lot for short tight landings and usually expect to hear it right before touchdown.

I agree that she was rather quick to  comment perhaps unfairly.

After the German Review,  I gave it a go and I'm really enjoying it.

There are some glitches like the rudder trim and flaps only work through the keyboard ( I've not tested properly )

However , general flying is delightful and less twitchy than the BB version in fact to my mind much nicer. Stall and spins are very close to the BB  aircraft and I'm getting used to this Beta and somewhat limited Reverse Thrust.

Overall I'm not disappointed in the slightest and wish the developers well.

That seems to chime with my opinion - there's definitely more work to be done but even as it stands I'd take it over the apparently abandoned Milviz version.

Trim and flap bindings are all working fine for me, that's using the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo
