However, as is often the case, the most frustrating of issues are often attributable to the simplest of solutions. With that idea in mind, I thought I'd revisit the conflicting assignments idea, even though I had gone through that possibility with a fine 'tooth comb.' Now don't shout at me too much fellas, but yes, that is what it was. In my defence, it wasn't all 'finger trouble.' As I was going through each of the hardware in the control panel of MSFS, I checked the throttle, the rudders, the yoke, the controller that I have, and assignments in FSUIPC and A&Ohs, all good, as before! There must be something, so I went back into MSFS control panel and there's a section named Button Box, which recognises a Leo Bodnar switch panel I use with A&Ohs.... and here's the thing, in there was an assignment for a parking brake! Now I don't know how that was assigned or even moreso, how that particular profile became active. I never touch that profile, I only ever choose the profiles for the rudder, yoke and throttles. After deleting that profile, all was good! Another darn frustrating bug in the world of MSFS Anyhow, thanks for everyone for their advice and suggestions, very much appreciated. It seems related to SU16. But listen to the answer, there's hope 😊 - sorry for off topic.
October 23, 2025Oct 23 Jorg seems to be suggesting that they will be looking at different sets of Bing textures, and deciding if slightly older textures would be a better option if the latest ones do not depict certain areas of the world in the most realistic light. My response to this would be.......get rid of those desert textures in southern England, and bring back the green fields!! Yes, they "decreased" the quality to match 2024 (can't help laughing at that) but still have the higher quality 2020 Bing textures for some areas if they choose to revert... So what you see in 2020 had been "decreased" to match 2024 and you will see the same in both sims LOL I guess it comes down to where you fly and the Bing Textures you are seeing, but that's far from "admitting a decrease in 2020 graphic quality... " Absolutely. Note that he said they'd be comparing and (perhaps) doing some mixing and matching of the old and new as some areas now feature imagery that's actually, at least to my eyes, improved in color and quality from the old. This certainly does not imply some sort of gradual degradation to move people to 2024. It's now the same imagery across both sims. Scott
