December 2, 2025Dec 2 I use FSLTL for traffic but the slider for 'historic' parked is very limited, so of late since I have processing headroom started using default parked aircraft, but they're w/o RW liveries it appears. Not bad but not ideal. Recommendations? Thanks Dave...I know you have been the poster child for AIG. If you could elaborate a bit on that it might help me decide to take on the time and learning to setup. Once it's setup, how's maintenance, performance, animation quality (FSLTL is very smooth here), and traffic management? I don't use BATC's traffic injection. I'd actually be delighted just to find parked RW liveries as for everything else pretty happy. December 2, 2025Dec 2 Personally I though the AIG setup was straight forward and easy, it just takes a while and thus requires patience. Start out installing a few of the big airlines or your favorites one at a time and only do 5 to 10 in a session. Then go try out the sim and see how it looks, coming back to install more later. Once it's setup the only real maintenance is to run the AI manager every few weeks or even months if you want to get updates as there are always new packages being released or packages getting updated with new or special liveries and new schedules etc. Performance wise it's the same as any of the others, people talk about it being harder on the system but that is purely from it injecting FAR more traffic than what the other option would at any given traffic percentage as it has more aircraft model types and close to 9-10x the liveries. You just have to tune the % to a mix of what you want vs what works well for your system. A big thing to keep in mind if it is a concern is parking. Asobo added an extra radius ring of about 5m to ai aircraft to prevent wings from overlapping. So at airports where you should see aircraft parked right beside each other at the adjacent gates Asobo's extra ring makes it essentially skip every other gate. This is more common at default airports that have parking spots VERY close together. Many but not all addon airports don't have this issue. With AIG Traffic Controller you can also set your departure and destination airport which then removes the other ai from your traffic radius which in 2020 and 2024 is massive compared to what P3d used (I think it's upwards of 75nm or something). This helps with performance immensely while at the same time maintains a very well populated airport that you are at and flying to. It can't hurt to try it out. I just loaded up at SFO with AIG Traffic Controller and it looks incredible. All of the airlines that should be here are here not to mention the appropriate cargo aircraft and also a good number of bizjets. One thing to note that in the initial AI manager OCI setup is to select to use 2048 pixels for texture size, I highly recommend this both to conserve space and help with performance. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

Thanks Since you have BATC why not just turn on traffic injection but turn off the actual live traffic stuff? I haven't used the app in a bit (no time for simming recently) but I believe it has sliders for all the actual live traffic in addition to the parked ones. So you could just have it inject parked aircraft only I believe. December 2, 2025Dec 2 I use FSLTL models with Savage sceneries on fltsim.to. I turn off AI in game and only have statics. https://flightsim.to/profile/SavageSceneries
