December 20, 2025Dec 20 Asobo are quite something and can still surprise when least expected. After crossing the Sahara Desert to the Malian town of Tessalit I was landing at an unmarked airfield just west of the town. Between two parallel strips of asphalt were about a dozen Camels that appeared to be programmed to run as I got closer.

Yes, I learned the hard way that these AI animas (and birds) are programmed to follow pre-set (limited) route patterns. Recently, around Chile, above the airport, I was chasing the Andean Condors in the sky with my Drone Camera…🙂…not an easy task. Then I realized, if I hung still in the sky at one point, they would simply come to me by themselves…🙂…
