December 22, 2025Dec 22 Hi Everybody, I've tried numerous Nvidia drivers with the latest XP beta and have had stutters/flickers with every one of them, didn't make any sense to me as I was running real nice for some time and nothing changed on my end. Now even going back to drivers that were nice gave me flicker/stutters. Well, looks like I found the culprit... If I uncheck the V-Sync box in XP12 my stutters are all but gone. Anyone else try XP12, latest Nvidia drivers without v-sync checked? December 22, 2025Dec 22 Hi Mel, no problem with 12.40 beta 1, I only use V-Sync enabled in NV control panel (don't use Nvidia App), and all is smooth as silk. Alexander Colka
December 28, 2025Dec 28 I am also having V-Sync issues with latest. I've tried in game and NVCP with no luck. I finally got one working by using NV inspector frame limiter if that helps for now AME GE90, GP7200 CFM56
December 28, 2025Dec 28 Why don't you use the frame rate limiter as a X-Plane.exe running option, like "--lock_fr=30"? I lock my frames by locking my monitor Hz, I never see them dip what is set.
