January 30Jan 30 Glad you got it sorted. I just had the same issue with CTDs starting out of the blue yesterday. First they where happening just after loading into a flight and later the sim was hanging on the loading screen. Performed all of the usual steps including emptying the community folder and starting in safe mode; running a repair and then a full reset. Finally, I did the full uninstall and reinstall, but that still did not work. In the end it took 5 or 6 full uninstalls followed by reinstalls (I lost count there were so many) to finally get the sim to load again. I have got may addons back into the community folder and so far so good after a few short flights. I still don't know what caused the issue or why it took so many attempts to fix it. Hopefully I don't jinx anything by posting this lol. Martin Sims: MSFS 2020, MSFS 2024 and X-plane 11 Home Airport: CYCW - Chilliwack, BC Canada i5 13600KF 32GB DDR4 3600 RAM, RTX3080TI Meta Quest 3
January 30Jan 30 Had same problem. Turned out to be a bad livery for the Ifly 737 max. Removed it and started normally again. It’s the Singapore star alliance livery from the Ifly manager. Imagine downloading a skin for a first person shooter and it causes the game to crash lol. Marco D'Agostino
