Here's the rub: we can't all live this way. 8 billion people cannot all have the lifestyle of the average developed nation citizen, let alone the lifestyle of a rich person. The planet simply can't support the level of production and consumption of natural resources that would be required. I actually don't begrudge the rich who can afford these luxuries.
