Another option for you can be as mine. For my Quest 3, I am using ethernet and power adapter with an ethernet connection to the PC. This allows cable connection which is better and less laggy. And with some OpenXR Toolkit or better Vrperfkit (single basic file) it can be adjusted to a different FOV and higher resolution. And I am really happy with the results. Very clear cockpit textures and really good rendering, even with my old PC which has low-end hardware.(Look at my signature for the hardware) Ethernet connection is very good and no need for a special router for this. You only need a quality ethernet - power adapter (Ugreen) which is not expensive and attach this adapter to your headset with velcro straps. (Choose a very small but a quality adapter which will ad a few grams to your headset.) And your headset is always fully charged as it is connected to the power while using (limitless power) And Quest 3 is affordable has many affordable accessories and solutions already. These are the critical points for me to choose this solution. Of course it is a personal choice. If you need more info, I can try to help. Happy flying. That’s why I use a bluetooth headset, which also has a better microphone. The latter is important for me as I use many voice commands (with VoiceAttack). I must add that I purchased the KIWI Design K4 Boost Comfort Battery Head Strap. This product not only makes the Quest more comfortable but also increases the battery autonomy significantly. And for very long sessions it can be charged while using it. Make it more comfortable then the HP Reverb G2 ? I actually find HP Reverb G2 somewhat uncomfortable

Is it not tricky/uncomfortable to have both a headset and the Quest with its extra headstrap on the head ?

Is it not tricky/uncomfortable to have both a headset and the Quest with its extra headstrap on the head ? Yes, the Reverb has the better speakers, but the sound of my in-ear bluetooth headset (soundcore Liberty 4 NC) is by far better than that of any built-in speaker. And it has the advantage that the speaker sound does not disturb the microphone. For me, it’s absolutely worth the hassle. Would you say that there is a significant difference (you will notice it immidiately) in sound quality between the inbuilt speakers of Reverb and Quest ? Can anyone tell about the difference in sound quality between Reverb and PCL ?

But using a separate bluetooth headphone gives me a much better sound experience than with both headset speakers. Correct; with the additional headstrap the Q3 is even better balanced. April 11Apr 11 I tried the Quest 3 and the image was horrible compared to the Reverb G2. No matter what I did the ground detail was lucky to be half of the sweet spot in the G2. This was using the data cable. There's a reason the G2 uses the Display Port on the video card, it delivers a far better image. The Quest 3 visuals in the headset itself in loaded games and the virtual room were excellent but the MSFS visuals were not up to scratch. I tried wi fi as well as the cable and neither was a patch on the G2, So I sold the Q3 and bought two second hand G2 headsets and with the Oasis driver I couldn't be happier under $1000.

It seem I get contradictory statements here. Many has said Quest 3 is far better then Reverb G2. Reasons mentioned are better lenses edge to edge clarity
