The Winctrl FMS has a great desk mount…I’m assuming they’ve thought of something similar? That's what I'm hoping. Wouldn't seem to make sense to create that panel and then not offer an easy way to mount it but I guess stranger things have likely occurred so who knows. Crossing fingers for a good mounting system because that panel looks awesome.

It has a wider marketability because an Airbus based sim cockpit can more or less be used for wide and narrowbodies without particularly big deviations. Apart from a difference in fuel tanks and fire extinguishers the setup and design of the cockpits is all the same. Only A350 and A380 fall out of that category as they come with a redesign. With Boeing you can use the hardware only for one type as they all differ from type to type. Edited March 22Mar 22 by Farlis

When I talked with them at Expo last year the rep said they routinely scrape airframe info from Volanta and Vatsim. The Airbus is more popular according to their records, so they focus on that. The rep said he is leading a charge for more Boeing stuff internally but his boss is very numbers driven.

Are you sure you’re just not a big Airbus fan and trying to swing WinCTRL direction towards Airbus? If you look at WinCRTL website, they have much more DCS hardware than Airbus and Boeing combined and I know for a fact the DCS market of buyers is MUCH smaller than MSFS/P3D/XP … several magnitudes smaller. Volanta and Vatsim are a very small representation of the potential buyer market. I hope WinCTRL will focus on both Boeing and Airbus equally and right now they have more Airbus products than Boeing. Given the context of my question was: why not more Boeing stuff?, no, I was not trying to swing them. I want them to make the same peripherals for Boeing for sure. I fly Airbus more these days since I have the hardware for it. I only have the FCP and MCDU tho. While the stuff is inexpensive, it adds up fast. Also, don't forget just how popular the FBW A20n is. I see it all the time on Vatsim with airlines that don't even have them.
