Blue skies, -B there definitely is an advisory VNAV you can activate by entering an altitude constraint in your route, however if you go to the AP panel in the GTN750/650 there's a suite of AP commands, one of which is VNAV the likes of which appears in devices like the G1000/3000. this is the specific feature I'm wondering about.
