March 26Mar 26 Administrators I'm a bit confused here. I have never seen them draw and fire a musket. Always sword play. Should be "The Three Swordsmen". March 26Mar 26 The real musketeers where elite troops in the 17th and 18th century who were originally distinguished by other cavalry units by wearing muskets. The were resonsible for the king's safety outside of the palace. The novels/movies were inspired by the real d'Artagnan, but there is a lot of artistic freedom involved 🙂
