Radar Contact to X-plane plugin

Featured Replies

Would this be the forum to ask about radar contact to x-plane plugin crash because of the latest x-plane 12 update a couple days ago?

RC4 to Xplane plugin is the problem according to the x-plane log..

Error is

RC4toXplane (fspp.RC4toXplane) has bypassed XPLM when calling SDK functions. This is a plugin bug.

Thanks

Laminar are now enforcing their SDK - plugins violating the documentation need to be fixed to work with Xplane moving forwards.

Ya wonder what the reason for enforcing the SDK rules is for.

Anyways, so I suppose that when FS++ finds this error they may update the plugin but no guarantees.

Thanks

Good to hear there are still people out there using good old Radar Contact 4, more so in X-Plane.

Multi Crew for X-Plane was a priority job and about to be sorted by the end of this week.

Next week, we'll update both RC4toXPlane and PFEtoXPlane.

Thanks for your patience.

I look at all the other ATC programs and nothing compares to RC. It is venerable. I am so glad the FS++ team is going to do an update. No rush. I may be the only one left. Ha ha.

Thanks

Nope, you're not the only one. Even though it is simple and basic compared to BATC and Say Intentions, I like RC better than all of them! I was really bummed when RC4forXplane started causing CTD's. Glad they are going to fix it all!

Happy to report that the plugin has now been updated and will work with latest X-Plane 12.4.1 and later. It is currently being tested by some volunteers and will be available from Simmarket by the end of this week. Eventually, obtain the download link from support if you need it right now.

Great to hear it's updated, but I'm not clear on what you mean by the above sentence...

Got it. Worked good until I got a CTD 20 yards from the gate...

I suggest you send X-Plane "log.txt" to [email protected] . I need to see which plugins are loaded.

Which plane operating under?

Would appreciate if someone else could confirm this and it will be looked at immediately.

Thanks

Don't use the new 12.4.1 much.  Still use 12.4.0 from Steam.  The little I tried 12.4.1 with the new RC to XP Radar Contact, worked perfect.

I only fired it up and taxied to the runway trying several options and all was well.

Thanks
