IniBuilds EGSS London Stansted ILS 04 problem

Featured Replies

I think what @Speedbird193 is suggesting is that it's a bug that occurs exactly if the ILS frequency happens to be 110.5 - because that's what the airplane loads with. It may be that because the frequency never gets changed, some internal logic to query the ILS signal doesn't get triggered.

A way to test this would be to intentionally de-tune the ILS to some other frequency, then set it back to 110.5 and see if it now works.

The standby frequency is 110.50, so I do not even have to set it up at Stansted or Bournemouth. However, I have a habit of switching the frequency to 110.50 anyway, and then "switching" with the other figure of 110.50. Maybe that causes a problem? Whatever the case, I will do a few tests to see what happens.

....and another one. The ILS 01 approach to SimWings LEMH Menorca in the PMDG 737-900ER. This one did not even pick up the VOR/LOC signal, and there was no magenta diamond on the MFA.

Well, if you liked that one, then you will love this.....

I have just noticed that if I pan the view to the left in my PMDG 737 so that the CAUTION buttons are towards the right of the screen, the texture resolution of those buttons lowers after maybe 5-10 seconds. This does not happen if I pan the view to the right, so that the CAUTION buttons are towards the left of the screen.

Does anyone else see this? I run the simulator at 1920x1080 resolution.

EDIT: This is in the 737s that have not yet had the model and texture upgrade (600/800/900)

I don´t think the ILS issue is related to the scenery, but rather to the PMDG Aircraft.

I had this a few times bothe at EGSS (Inibuilds) and EKCH (Flytampa).

I have done what other have suggested - re-installed the Navdata for the PMDG's from the Navigraph Hub.

Some has also suggested to removed the Navigraph-Base Navdata for MSFS2024.

This is thee Navdata used as as a replacement of the MSFS2024 default Navdata).

Look in the Navigraph HUB under "Simulator Base Packages" -> "AIRAC Cycle 2603 Rev.3" (the one that is current now).
